Description

Mike started martial arts as a child, albeit 'McDojo' martial arts, and it wasn't until he first experienced UFC that his love for the all-round approach of martial arts came into play. Mike took a period of 8 years out of training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu due to life experiences, and now trains as a Blue Belt at Stealth Teesside.

Being a Nutritionist for the last 16 years, Mike now serves Athletes and Hobbyists in the world of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. We discuss the importance of health and nutrition for training and competing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Being consistent, good sleep, staying hydrated and finding that sweet spot for your own training to progress are some of the tips Mike suggests for getting closer to that one percent of individuals doing great things in Jiu Jitsu.
