About Joshua Horton

Dr. Horton is the Senior Program Fellow, Solar Geoengineering at the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, and Research Director for the Global Commission on Governing Risks from Climate Overshoot (“Climate Overshoot Commission”).

He conducts research on solar geoengineering policy and other aspects of global climate governance.

He previously worked as a clean energy consultant for a global energy consulting firm. Dr. Horton holds a PhD in political science from Johns Hopkins University and was a postdoctoral research fellow at Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center.
