It was such a pleasure to welcome Culinary Director, Skye Gyngell, whose career spans Spring at Somerset House and Petersham Nurseries to hear all about the 12 year journey of bringing Heckfield to Life including,

• Introducing Skye Gyngell, the wonderful chef behind Spring and Petersham Nurseries who has spent the past 12 years as Heckfield Place’s Culinary Director
• Heckfield Place, a 12 year labour of love to restore the house to its current state along with a biodynamic market garden, orchard and spa
• Creating a space with intention that feels like a home from home with afternoon tea by the fire
• Transitioning towards biodynamics and rebuilding the the market garden which is now absolutely the foundation of the menu today
• Celebrating the 100 years of biodynamics in 2024 and how organic farms are leading the way in biodiversity and sustainability
• Looking ahead at the next chapter of Heckfield Place and focusing on doing one thing and doing it well
• Skye’s favourite places to detox, celebrate and travel
