In this episode, we dive into the experiences of Daisy, who was raised in the IFB movement and is a stay-at-home daughter. She was forced to attend BJU in 2008, right after the death of her best friend. Despite her plea to take time off to grieve, she was pushed into an environment where she was labeled a "trouble student" from day one. Unaware of her autism at the time, Daisy grappled with academic struggles and navigating the toxic culture of BJU. She was subjected to bullying, scrutiny, and sexual harassment due to her body size. After enduring two years of multifaceted abuse, Daisy was left emotionally numb and was back under the absolute control of her parents. Join us as we explore Daisy's journey, the abuse she faced, and her path towards healing.
