Hello and welcome to episode two of classically speaking the Psalms.
We have received some feedback recently. One listener asked if we could repeat the psalm during the music so John has done this for psalm 103.
If you have any comments or suggestions please get in touch.
We have lots to get through in this episode, seven psalms in total. John is raring to go.

The third one is psalm 74, and the music is Carl Orff’s O Fortunata.
The forth one is psalm 84. The music for this one is Liszt’s Etude du concert number 3.
The fifth one is psalm 103, and the music is Beethoven’s symphony number five, forth movement.
The sixth one is psalm 143. The music is De Falla’s ritual fire dance.
And finally, the seventh one is psalm 148. The music is Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, Act two prelude.
