For this first Radio Tabbouli podcast from TMR, we take you behind the scenes of the Arabesques Festival at Montpellier's Halle Tropisme for two evenings of the current alternative scene. We meet Imed, Khalil, Petra and Hany: 4 eclectic artists. What do they have in common? They draw their inspiration from traditional Arab music, which they revisit with electronic sounds.
On the menu: an interview with Imed Alibi, followed by Khalil Epi, musicians and co-founders of the group Frigya, produced by the Shouka label, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
