Do I have to remove my body hair to get better sex?
My guest in this episode is Asad Zafar, the non-binary slut-dragon of your dreamz. They are tall, queer and hairy—and after years of reflection, they now love this about themself. Asad tells me about how their conservative Pakistani Muslim family shielded them from the baby-slut they knew they were. So Asad’s prescription for a free-sex world is about finding ways to accept our sluttiness.
Asad also shared insights from their work in sexual health testing. Their experience brings up many ideas for various communities on fighting the stigma of getting tested—so we can get closer to the free-sex world.
