If you like movies where the killer has Mommy issues, have we got a doozy for you! This week Nick and Andy take on Don't Go in the House from 1979. Depending on where you watch it; the main title sequence might call it "The Burning." So we touched on that a little bit. It's not too heavy on the Kill Count, but definitely heavy on the psychological issues with Mom. Donald Kohler was abused as a kid and as a result of that abuse, he has an unhealthy relationship with his mother, and with fire. One day when Donny's mom passes away and he suddenly finds himself "free" from her abuse, Donny decides to "burn away other evil" in the world now that he is "Master of the Flame." Sorry for going a little "heavy" on the quotation marks. It's one of those weeks.
