In this episode, Sam and Sam explore Homer's Iliad Book 5, focusing on Diomedes' aristeia (moment of excellence) as he steps up to replace the absent Achilles. With Athena's help, Diomedes wounds several gods including Aphrodite and Ares, raising questions about the relationship between mortals and immortals on the battlefield.
