It's Friday Fact day yet again, so Gill Smith and Pete Moor provide more interesting, lesser known facts answering all the questions you never dreamed of asking.
This week Gill tells us of the heartwarming fact that no-one from the Cotswolds village of Upper Slaughter, was killed in either World war leading to us finding out what a "Thankful Village" is. She also tells us the frankly ridiculous bad luck Ernest Hemmingway endured when trying to fly around Uganda and also, she tells us of the fact that Picasso's maddest moments may have had nothing to do with his bizarre paintings.
Pete brings us the news that there may actually be literal diamonds in the sky, out in space and also shares the strange story of one the most highly rated restaurants in London which wasn't quite as it seemed. He also tells us how the lives of everyone in a small village in Spain were changed in one evening... well, almost everyone.
...and finally a copywriter in Peterborough in 1979 had one of the greatest journalistic moments sharing a memorable article which will take some beating when it comes to the award for "greatest mis-print ever".
