Soy tu amigo y hermano Eduardo Rodríguez. Bendiciones.

1 Kings 13. Tragic disobediences.
1 Kings 13:14-22:
and went after the man of God, and found him sitting under an oak. Then he said to him, “Are you the man of God who came from Judah?” And he said, “I am.” Then he said to him, “Come home with me and eat bread.” And he said, “I cannot return with you nor go in with you; neither can I eat bread nor drink water with you in this place. For I have been told by the word of the Lord, ‘You shall not eat bread nor drink water there, nor return by going the way you came.’ ” He said to him, “I too am a prophet as you are, and an angel spoke to me by the word of the Lord, saying, ‘Bring him back with you to your house, that he may eat bread and drink water.’ ” (He was lying to him.) So he went back with him, and ate bread in his house, and drank water. Now it happened, as they sat at the table, that the word of the Lord came to the prophet who had brought him back; and he cried out to the man of God who came from Judah, saying, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Because you have disobeyed the word of the Lord, and have not kept the commandment which the Lord your God commanded you, but you came back, ate bread, and drank water in the place of which the Lord said to you, “Eat no bread and drink no water,” your corpse shall not come to the tomb of your fathers.’ ”

This episode in the history of Israel and Judah is the prelude to the confusing and difficult future of the people of God. Here we see the division of the kingdom of Solomon, it was divided into the kingdom of Israel and Judah. As a consequence of Solomon's disobedience, his son is left with 2 tribes: Judah and Benjamin; and Jeroboam is left with 10.
Jeroboam immediately strayed from the true path of God, he formed a new cult, distorted from God's law, putting priests who are not from the tribe of Levi and inventing sacred festivals so that the Israelites do not go to Jerusalem. This brought a curse to the people.
God used a prophet to give a message about the sad future of Jeroboam's reign for perverting the people to idolatry. Then a more experienced prophet tested the younger prophet and tricked him to see if he would keep God's Word. He was fooled and suffered the consequences. The old prophet sent others to bury him and asked to be buried in the same grave when he died.
Here we can see a prophet that God used mightily but fell into the trap of another prophet who deceived him by using a lie that seemed true.
We do not know what prompted this old prophet to put the young prophet through such a test, but we can learn something from this: that it does not matter if a person or an angel from heaven appears to us and wants to separate us from the love of God and the truth offering us a more relaxed and easy message, we must not fall for it.
The young prophet was physically tired from the journey and wanted to rest but disobeyed God's clear and concise order that told him not to enter any house. This fault cost him his life. Other biblical characters suffered loss through their carelessness and disobedience. David suffered hardship in his family, persecution and pain. Saul lost the kingdom. Eli the priest lost the priesthood. Moses did not enter the promised land, and many other characters who suffered fatal consequences and suffered incalculable losses.
Let's learn from this lesson how easily we can be deceived. Let us remember the advice of the apostle Paul in Galatians 1:8: “But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.”
The apostle Peter gave us similar advice in 2 Peter 3:17-18: “You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked; but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.”
Don't change your faith in Christ Jesus, don't be discouraged, don't give up your faith, don't get off the hand of the Lord. Walk and live in the truth, regardless of trials and temptations. If you have failed or fallen and you still have life, that means that God is giving you a golden opportunity to correct your mistakes, straighten your steps, restore your relationship with God, your spiritual life, your home, your family, your ministry.
This prophet started well but ended badly. Start over again and live a new life together with your family!
How are you living your Christian life? Have you been tempted to trade your Biblical Christian standards and convictions for a watered down and adulterated gospel? Are you walking into the presence of God every day and do you feel the Holy Spirit with you? If not, you are in danger! Immediately seek the Lord with all your heart like the first time you were filled with the Holy Spirit!
I am your friend and brother Eduardo Rodríguez. Blessings.
