Welcome to the premiere episode of Great American Shit Show. This show is designed to tackle all the American things that make our country look like the shit show it truly is. We will examine modern issues and go back to show this isn’t coming out of nowhere.
The first episode is a small series about the “Modern GOP”. Many people can’t understand how the GOP turned so far to the right. However, it has been turning that way since 1964. This week, we will discuss the founding of the Modern GOP by a failed presidential candidate, Barry Goldwater. How his failed run worked well for Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump.
