Just as a welcoming host creates comfort and ease for a guest, we can “accommodate” our meditation by giving it time, energy, and care. A supportive, nurturing approach toward our meditation object fosters deeper relaxation and connection, while minimal effort may suffice at times but limits the richness of the experience. Being a generous “host” to our practice can lead to greater satisfaction and contentment.
