Description

Nita June is a Theater Director, Creative Director, Teacher, Mentor, Actor, Musician and Sound and Space Designer. She has her own theater company, DogStar Theater Company, and she has also guest directed at Westmont College. She’s the co-creator of “The Outlet Project”, which she created together with Sara Rademacher in response to the COVID-19 quarantine, which gives individuals from all walks of life an outlet to express and create. Recently, she also unveiled her newest creation, “Porchlight Theater,” which is designed to bring curated theater performances right to people’s homes in Santa Barbara.

Nita is a true creative powerhouse. When we she sets the intention to create something she’ll follow through with that intention and will bring a project to its completion. And at the end of our conversation she shares some really wise insights on how to succeed in that process.
