Welcome students to your second semester of back to school spring activities at Spoken Wordplay Podcast. This is your chosen head instructor Ms. Tonya Michelle Wilkerson speaking from the heart with a motivational message. The month of March is packed with reading-focused & story-telling observances which provide excellent opportunities to highlight specific genres, visit libraries, and join reading challenges. So, in support of your mental, social, emotional and educational success. Students, Ms. Tonya the head instructor is challenging you to participate in National March into Literacy Month.

Here are several days to celebrate:

1. First, start reading aloud for 10-minutes to 10 different people such as your classmates, pets, family members, and teachers to help raise awareness of International Read to Me Day this March 19th.
2. Then, on March 20th participate in honoring the oral tradition for World Storytelling Day. Students, tell or listen to stories in numerous languages and locations to foster connection, creativity and cultural exchange at schools, theaters, and online.
3. The next day is recognized as World Poetry Day. Students on March 21st will be the perfect opportunity to examine your favorite poets and their craft and then start creating your own written poem to share it with your classmates, teachers, family members and on Spoken Wordplay Podcast Daily Affirmations Youtube Channel.
