This week, Gemma and Gaia are joined by Prof. Chris Watkins. Chris is a Professor of Machine Learning at the Department of Computer Science in Royal Holloway, University of London, and has had a long-standing interest in artificial intelligence (AI)I. In this episode, Chris shares his experience of AI, his thoughts on the ethical implications of using AI in research, and how our role as academics might change after the launch of Gen AI. Lastly, he gives his top tips for PhD students that want to use AI in their research.
