Luke Shuey is the captain of the West Coast Eagles in the AFL. A humble, hardworking and honest athlete that has exemplified that through effort you can find success at the highest level. Luke was drafted at pick 18 back in 2008 to the Eagles and through his assessment felt a long way off the best in the game in his early years. Fast forward to 2023, Luke, is now one of the lead midfielders in the competition with an AFL Premiership, Norm Smith medal and 2x Best 'n' Fairest's at the Eagles. Now a captain, this chat goes deep on Luke's leadership approach, his journey through the AFL and how he is hoping to lead West Coast back to the top of the game.
