Dr. Walter Kasmir takes us on his journey from realizing he would not become a star athlete to evolving into an academic. After following different paths, he moved from bitterness to pursuing his career path. He became a fireman paramedic, registered nurse, author, and coach. His capacity for empathy developed with life experiences that gave increasing clarity. His current work focuses on using acquired technical skills and helping adult children care for aging parents.
Walt Kasmir is an ACE (Advocate, Author, Coach, Counselor, Educator, and Entrepreneur). In particular, he is an Eldercare Coach and Trainer. He provides advocacy services, has a podcast, and several books available on Amazon, with his newest book Artistry of Eldercare. Dr. Kasmir’s mission is to be a guiding light in what can often be a dark and confusing time, offering a blend of wisdom, empathy, and practical strategies to those who are grappling with the complexities of caring for aging loved ones.
