Bio: Rick has always been driven by creativity and a passion for classical music, with aspirations of becoming a writer from an early age. However, life took unexpected turns that taught him crucial lessons over the span of more than three decades. Today, he is dedicated to coaching individuals, particularly young adults, to become H.O.P.E. Humans, embodying hope, opportunity, purpose, and empathy. As the founder of The Hope Institute, a 501(c)(3) public charity, Rick addresses societal, economic, and environmental challenges through community-building initiatives rooted in his core principles. The Hope Institute and We Care Partnerships Network merged to form a collaboration for assisting businesses to form coalitions of community outreach to assist with challenges they face.
Looking ahead, Rick aims to assemble a dynamic team to establish H.O.P.E. communities. His recent involvement in suicide prevention has become a vital focus, recognizing the urgent need to combat this growing epidemic. Through collaborations with the Hope Institute and We Care Partnerships Network, he successfully organized a major event in Raleigh, NC, with plans for more initiatives in the coming year. Rick’s unwavering commitment to fostering hope and resilience in communities continues to inspire those around him.
