Jarvis Guthrie says that just like an addict chases the original high, “I’ve been chasing that same appetizer for God, to be full on Christ.” His ministry is focused on rehabilitation and bringing men to true repentance. With consistency, he uses the prison fellowship curriculum and believes that longevity and fullness of life are keys. Love God… Honor your parents… Have mentors… Break recidivism.
Saved by Grace Ministries was founded while Jarvis was incarcerated from 2012 to 2014. After his transition from prison, he became an ordained minister in 2015. At Florida State College of Jacksonville, Jarvis graduated with a bachelor's degree in supervision and management. He faithfully serves his community and volunteers with prison fellowship in several adult facilities. Jarvis Guthrie’s dedication is to help men transition from prison into the Kingdom.
