Michael Deluce ’96 P’26 ’30 is the CEO of Porter Airlines. His passion for aviation is deeply rooted in a long family history in the aviation industry. Michael’s grandparents started White River Air Service in 1951 and sparked a love of aviation for generations to come.
Michael was awarded the 2024 Crescent Alumni Excellence Award in recognition of his incredible professional and personal achievements with outreach and community service. Michael was instrumental in defining Porter’s successful initial business plan, including commercial and brand strategies, and more recently, charting an ambitious growth plan to offer flights throughout North America with a fleet of over 100 aircraft.
Michael is also Chief Executive Officer of the airline’s parent company, Porter Aviation Holdings Inc., and has been a director of various public and private companies. He is currently a member of Porter’s Board of Directors, and holds an MBA from University of Western Ontario’s Ivey School of Business.
