Description

The conversation begins with a humorous dialogue about the culture of giving directions in Ireland. Christine then reflects on recent conversations she’s had about feeling lost and the art of finding oneself, sharing insights she’s had from Blindboy, Anthony De Mello and Jim Fortin. She explores language, the etymology of "lost," the Dutch concept of "Niksen," and how the pandemic challenged people’s sense of direction, encouraging a re-evaluation of the meanings we assign to words and concepts. Advocating for enjoying “days of no direction,” Christine teaches us how to get comfortable with being lost in new cities, whilst celebrating the unexpected joys of spontaneity and intuition.
