Description

Mexico's most historic rivalry features the two most supported teams in Liga MX.

Chivas de Guadalajara — the team from a quintessentially Mexican city known for Mariachi and located in the state of Jalisco, the home of tequila — has a policy of only fielding Mexican nationals.

Club América, from the swanky and cosmopolitan capital of Mexico City, rose to prominence spending big money on foreign players, a master plan from the club's TV magnate owners not just to compete but to create a football telenovela, a soap opera in which their club could play the villain.

Ramses Sandoval, a commentator for TelevisaUnivision, joins the show to discuss the rivalry, the two clubs, and the current state of Mexican football.
