It's a service in the property world that saves investors time by compensating a 'sourcing agent' to find a good investment property for you. For investors this means saving time in finding a property, going on many viewings and the task of analysing the deal on their spreadsheets. This strategy has risen in appeal recently, as a way for people who aren't yet ready to invest, to build up their funds earning a high fee per deal found, and learn along the way. However, this strategy is also entirely unregulated, and we share our honest takeaways from our first experience with a sourcing agent.
