an acquired personality trait in which a person tends to recognize or consider themselves a victim of the negative actions of others, contrary to the evidence of such circumstances.
The opposite of victim mentality is accountability.
Accountability:
your circumstances may not be your fault, they are your responsibility. That doesnβt mean that you caused it.
It means that you have the ability to respond to your circumstances and change the outcome.
