Nishta Season 2 – Episode 3, we have a special guest, Mr. Somjit Amrit, a thought leader in the Human-centric technology intervention space. With more than 35 years of experience across technologies, geographies, and business functions, Somjit is the CEO of the Technology Innovation Hub of IIT Mandi. The ability to absorb technology for business needs has been his identity, which is validated by his being on the cusp of the technology trends as they emerge. Office automation in the early 90s’, e-commerce in the early 2000s, followed by IT services, product engineering, software platforms, and social engineering.
Somjit is the winner of the Azim Premji Award for Innovation and the Aegis Graham Bell Award in 2010 and 2019 respectively. He has an MBA from IIM Lucknow(1989-91) and a BTech from NIT Rourkela ( 1984-1988).
