 “You are what you eat.” This phrase is thought to have originated all the way back in 1826. Modern day determinations mean that, while not literal, the food we consume does have an effect on our physical and mental health. So what if the processed foods we are consuming contained things that were bad for our health? What if what we are consuming is literally killing us? What if, through relaxed or even purposeful regulation, or lack thereof, the government was allowing consumers to be exposed to these toxins?
