Ripp has a problem, he quite enjoyed being a servant of Callanad, even though he had more than a little contempt for the conjuror. After something of a misunderstanding, Ripp was reduced to the status of a tick cleansing bug on the great bulk of the worm Erethemuge and if he isn't careful this state of affairs will last an eternity. Ripp has other plans and they involve re-kindling his old partnership with Callanad, though the latter's amnesia and chronic alcoholism are presenting him with an unfortunate obstacle.
