Welcome to the Lord of Adders Black fan podcast, where Michael and Ian explore the universe of cult sitcom Blackadder while diving off at the occasional tangent.
For our third episode, Percy and Perspicacity, we are joined by our very first guest – writer, poet and fellow Blackadder buff Jan Miklaszewicz – who waxes lyrical about Tim McInnerny and the various roles he plays in all four series. And, in one case, three different roles in the same episode!
We will also be revisiting Jim Broadbent’s hilarious turn as the ever-present interpreter to Miriam Margolyes’s Spanish Infanta in our favourite Series 1 episode. And we will be looking back on a long and fruitful career that has gone from high-rises in Peckham to Bullets Over Broadway.
