The Book of Exodus is the second book of the Bible and tells the powerful story of how God delivered the Israelites from slavery in Egypt under the leadership of Moses. It begins with their suffering in Egypt, the birth of Moses, and God calling him from the burning bush to confront Pharaoh. After ten plagues, Pharaoh lets the Israelites go, and they cross the Red Sea miraculously as God parts the waters.
