Description

French startup Jump raised approximately $12 million in a Series A funding round led by Breega, with contributions from Index Ventures and Raise Ventures. Jump provides full-time contracts to freelancers, allowing them to achieve stability and benefits similar to full-time employees while maintaining independence. Freelancers can work with multiple clients and negotiate contracts directly. Jump’s platform facilitates client billing and payslip generation, aiding income management. A permanent contract grants freelancers benefits including national healthcare registration and pension contributions. Additional offerings include health insurance, meal vouchers, and employee savings schemes. The service costs €99 per month, with deductions from freelancer pay. Currently, around 2,000 freelancers use Jump's platform. The startup aims to expand to the British market, targeting freelancers in the U.K.
