Humanize — See them fully as a person. Recognize they suffer and have emotions and values.
Observe — Pay attention to your senses; no immediate action is needed.
Offer Grace — Assume that others are doing the best they can.
See Complexity — How might my initial judgment be incorrect?
Empathy — Understand what they are feeling and choose to feel with them.
