Leann and Melissa talk through how distraction and fear prevents us from achieving our goals and how to peel away our personal distractions to refocus on our eternal progress.
Ponder Questions:
What are my distractions?
What things can I change?
Am I aware of the things that are distracting me?
Will this matter tomorrow?
Is this a good use of my time?
Is this taking me closer to my goals?
Is this helping me?
What would the Lord do?
Am I aware of my patterns?
What is my motive for doing this?
What are my personal “Saturday morning cartoons”?
Am I being overly critical of myself?
What stories am I creating?
Is this enlightening me or engaging me toward progressing?
What am I aiming towards?
Invitation:
Become aware of the times you are being distracted and why.
Ask yourself, “What is distracting me? Is it keeping me from doing something more important?”
