Jay Calise is known as "The Scenefather" in the local NY/NJ/CT metal scene. Being a lifelong fan of heavy metal and having fronted his own band Crimson Tears back in the 90’s, Jay is active in supporting the next generation of independent metal bands, such as NJ’s Monument of a Memory.
In today’s episode, Jay takes us behind-the-scenes of the chaotic videoshoot for Monument of a Memory’s ”Panic & Persuasion”, persevering through the band’s sets getting cut short, and other mishaps encountered while traveling for the band’s gigs.
