JeVon McCormick was born the mixed-race son of a negligent, drug-dealing pimp father and a struggling single mom. He was raised in the slums of Dayton, Ohio, where he suffered abuse and racism and went to Juvie three times.
Now, he is the CEO and President of professional book publishing company, Scribe Media, as well as the author of the memoir, "I Got There: How a Mixed-Race Kid Overcame Racism, Poverty, and Abuse to Arrive at the American Dream".
