So often when we think of people traveling the world, the faces that get pushed in media and advertising are white faces. But in recent years, a community of young black and brown voices across the country and the world are changing that. Add LaIndia Santos and her fiancé, Allister Naipaul, to the list.
Whereas the average American has only been to 1-2 countries, Allister and LaIndia have traveled to a combined 29 countries between them (Including ten together), and they aren't just staying on resorts; they're really living amongst the native people and getting a fulfilling experience! They stop by to talk why they travel even to countries most Americans are warned to stay away from, their love for one another and what it's like traveling the world as young people of color.
Plus: D1 Ignant University host Jamal Brown stops by to talk the week that was, from Brian Flores's eye-opening lawsuit against the NFL's hiring practices to the retirement of one of the greatest players ever in Tom Brady. It's a special Black History Month edition of The Play-By-Play Analysis that you don't want to miss!
