On this episode, Caren Sullivan talks to Ultra Contemporary Artist Jonathan Mayhew in 2020.

Jonathan Mayhew is an Irish artist and occasional writer based in Dublin.

Using poetry, literature, technology and theory, he manipulates physical and invisible materials creating works in a variety of media, questioning the world we live in. He is interested in how we think about technology and society, how we use it and how it in turn uses us, while exploring the blurring edges of fiction and reality. His works offers a poetic escape from the hyper reality we live in.

Emerging Artist for Wexford in 2016. Along side his artistic practice, he has also worked as director of One Gallery in Dublin and curator at Monster Truck Gallery.
