Jess Phillips was first elected as MP for Birmingham Yardley in 2015. Since then she has become a formidable part of British politics - especially regarding issues concerning domestic violence. She is currently the Parliamentary Under-Secetary of State for Safeguarding and Violence against Women and Girls.
