Description

Feared words. Can you relate to that? Probably not, but all of us who stutter can probably do it. Imagine introducing yourself by name to a new person. The person extends their hand, you shake hands and the person says their name. When you say your name, nothing comes out. You struggle to get something out. The panic, shame and guilt grow inside you and you just want to disappear. The person might look away, start laughing a little nervously, maybe make a little joke by saying "oh, don't you remember your name?" or the person waits patiently until you say your name.
