David Twomy's directorial debut in this cult horror sci-fi movie with deep spiritual, Biblical undertones scratching the surface. A crash landing on a desolate planet with three suns calls for a new type of anti hero name Riddick. The survivors of the ship moral compasses are tested as the planet goes into a solar eclipse of darkness, putting the trust into a murderer Vin Diesel's badass role as Riddick, a mysterious violent criminal who can see in the dark, super strength and heighten senses to fight for survival when met by the planet's original inhabitants. A wild ride with a lots of meaning that set itself from just another typical "sci-fi horror" movie. Evil ain't for no punk b!
