In the latest episode of The Total Motorsport F1 Show, host Joe Krishnan is joined by F1 journalists Adam Dickinson and Brandon Sutton to dive into the all the controversy that came from a thrilling 2024 Mexico Grand Prix.

All the talk was of another (two) incident(s) between Lando Norris and Max Verstappen at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez as the two 10-second penalties given to the Red Bull driver brought the Dutchman's driving standards into question once again.

With Verstappen being compared to Dick Dastardly, as well as F1 drivers admitting he crosses the line on occasions, has FIA had enough of the Dutchman's antics? And will this huge penalty change the way he races?

Attention turns to the man of the moment - Carlos Sainz - who got his wish and was able to take victory for Ferrari once again, before he leave for Williams at the end of the 2024 F1 season. His victory, also cements Ferrari as the main challengers to McLaren in the fight for the constructors' championship.

Elsewhere, Mercedes look lost at sea once again with George Russell and Lewis Hamilton struggling to match the pace of the front runners. Questions were also raised as Russell was running an old floor, and was able to match the pace of his teammate, making Hamilton's decision to jump ship look all the more inspired.

The fight for a seat in the Red Bull team took another twist in Mexico as Liam Lawson capitalised on a dismal Sergio Perez performance to firmly stake his claim to be racing alongside Verstappen next season. Checo's terrible season only got worse in front of his home crowd, and the Kiwi flipped the bird on the race for good measure.
