I’m always blown away to meet people like Jackson, listening to their experiences of domestic and family violence that occurred during their childhood. How it can be normalised until it makes its way into our adult lives, increasing the likelihood of experiencing unhealthy and toxic relationships. It may only be when we reach out for help that it becomes clear the cycle is continuing.
My question is why we are not doing more with early prevention measures to support families through this process and STOP the future cycles.
I really enjoy Jackson’s very honest conversation, it can help people better understand the cycles and support them with their challenges through hearing an open conversation.
The more we can talk about this subject the better chance we have of changing lives.
