Carolyn Robinson is the Founder and Director of Beyond DV, an organization dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic and family violence and preventing such violence through education and community engagement.
Carolyn's journey began in 2017 when her younger daughter experienced domestic violence. This deeply personal experience led Carolyn to leverage her 30 years of experience as an educator to help women and children rebuild their lives after such trauma. Since its inception in January 2018, Beyond DV has grown significantly, offering a range of innovative recovery programs and services across Brisbane.
In today's episode, we'll dive into Carolyn's story, the mission of Beyond DV, and the impactful programs they offer. We'll also discuss the importance of community support and how everyone can play a role in preventing domestic violence.
