Description

Jan 17, 2001, Hutchinson Kansas

It is also known as salt city because of the salt mines 600 ft below the surface, covering 980 acres underground.

It was a typical day downtown, when suddenly there was an explosion at a store called Decor. It was a party supply store. And the appliance store, woodies, next door. The blast was so powerful, it shattered windows a block away.
