Description

This week, we’re back for another Book Club. For the month of August, we read Mean Baby by Selma Blair and there are definitely some triggers that we were not given warnings for. Disclaimer: we weren’t huge fans of this one. The timeline was all over the place which made it extremely difficult to follow, and there was a lot of destructive behavior that never really got corrected. There was positive point in the way she was honest about some of her MS journey and the challenges that she continues to endure because of the disease. Overall, we really wouldn’t recommend this one, it was a struggle to get through on multiple levels. We wish Selma well and hope she has the support she needs. On a different note, Ailish contemplates applying to be on the Bachelor and Hannah recounts a relatable way of understanding Scandoval which she found in Instagram comments. For the month of September, we have chosen a (hopefully) lighthearted read by Andy Cohen. Read along with us to the Daddy Diaries! Interact with us by answering the Q&A, and leaving reviews on the podcast in general. We love to hear your feedback! So grab your water bottles, and look out for new episodes every Wednesday!

Ailish’s Recommendation: Komucha Update: You Brew Kombucha

Hannah’s Recommendation: A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
