In this week’s episode, we discuss some breaking news regarding the tragedy on the Rust set. The armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, was charged with involuntary manslaughter and will face up to three years in prison. This left us wondering what Alec Baldwin’s fate will be when he goes to trial in July. We also discussed some news from the Bravoverse: Lala Kent announced her pregnancy via IUI. We’re happy for her and think every woman has the right to have a child however they see fit, but we’re a little conflicted by the narrative she’s been repeating on podcasts and interviews. Switching gears, we also go back in time to reminisce on some skate shows and movies from our youth. Anyone remember Rocket Power, Lords of Dogtown, Scarred, and Brink!?VPR kept us in Lake Tahoe again this week and Scheana was going through it! Tears were shed in nearly every scene and it took Brock an uncomfortably long time to come to his wife’s defense regarding Sandoval. To no one’s surprise, Tom Sandoval continues to reject any thought of taking an ounce of accountability which is starting to exhaust us. Watching him act like a pouty child on TV every week isn’t fun. Meanwhile, Katie and Ariana conduct interviews for a sandwich shop that still isn’t open in the present day. We wish those two would give more this season, but so far, their scenes have been a snoozefest. With that being said, the episodes continue to be enjoyable, but we’re hoping things switch up after the crew gets back from their trip. Part 1 of the RHOBH reunion was unfortunately lacking much like the rest of the season. Dorit continues to be tone deaf and ignorant with her words, Annemarie brings up things that were happening in her personal life that weren’t shown on the show, and Kyle accuses Dorit of playing into what the audience wants. Part 2 brings a confrontation between Kyle and Sutton, so hopefully things start to liven up. Speaking of Housewives, we also discuss a polarizing conversation on a recent episode of Juicy Scoop where Heather, Brandy, and Julie discuss whether reality stars should be paid based on what drama they bring to a season.
