Description

Boston Metal are working on an alternative to a millennia old production process. The steel industry is responsible for around 7% of the world’s carbon emissions; decarbonisation is crucial.

As Chief Scientist at Boston Metal, Guillaume Lambotte breaks down the chemistry behind their alternative process for making steel. He explains how even though the steel industry will be impossible to change overnight, even a small reduction in emissions could have a positive impact on our planet.
