0:00-34:07 Content Warning: We're here to talk about the importance of the Black Lives Matter movement, and if you are here because you have feed fatigue, and you want something light-hearted, this section is not it. We will not apologize for talking about this, because it needs to be discussed. If you need to save this section of the podcast for when you have the mental capacity to handle a discussion on police brutality, we understand. But we encourage you to listen and to look in your heart, and reconcile with the parts of you that may be made uncomfortable by this concept.

Robert is mad, Kelsey is mad, we are horrified at America's system of police brutality. As white people in America right now, we have a duty to educate ourselves on the systemic racism that oppresses people of color, and to rage against that machine.

There is an opportunity right now more than ever for you to make a difference in your community by donating either your time to protest or sign petitions, or your money to worthy causes who are doing the heavy lifting. Amplify Black voices on social media by sharing their posts or promoting their content.

You have an obligation to have difficult and uncomfortable conversations with your friends and family to make sure they understand their privilege and how they have benefited from such a thing as simple as the color of their skin.
