Hey cuties!! Welcome to today’s Ratfood where we’re pretty much just having a big fat catch up, guvna! And you’re invited along for the ride - zoom lags and overlaps and all!
This is the longest we’ve ever gone without speaking (not an exaggeration) and boy do we have THINGS TO CATCH UP ON! Sammy tells us allllll about her time at Prima Vera Sound in Barcelona, about how she got fyre-festivaled, how the sets were of our top 3 pop girlies and some of the things that really surprised her about some of the artists’ sets.
We also unpack all our thoughts on the Sabrina Carpenter album cover BONANZA, as well as critiquing it alongside the Fletcher ‘coming out’ saga amongst other (what some are calling) ‘sings of societal regression’ from the last few weeks.
Hope you’re all having beautiful weeks wherever you are, and if you need Mel, she’ll be busy going after world domination on Cooking Dash, and if you need Sam, she’ll be arriving at Heathrow airport 73 hours early to come home to her best friend TOOT SUITE.
You know the drill - come see us in Sydney if you wanna come see a live show of ‘The Platonic Human Centipede’ (https://events.humanitix.com/the-platonic-human-centipede) and we’ll see you very soon.
xx

Mel & Sam would like to acknowledge that Ratbag is being recorded on Stolen Land.
The original custodians of this land have had a rich history of storytelling for over 65,000 years, and we pay our respects to the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation whose land we are recording Ratbag on.
Treaties were never signed. Sovereignty was never ceded. Always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
