The 98th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is set to take place on Thursday, November 28, 2024. The parade will air on NBC from 8:30 a.m. until noon and will also be simulcast on Peacock, with an encore presentation on NBC at 2 p.m. This year's parade will be the largest yet, featuring over 5,000 volunteers, 17 featured character balloons, 22 floats, 15 heritage and novelty balloons, more than 700 clowns, 11 marching bands, and 10 performance groups. New balloons debuting include Minnie Mouse, Extraordinary Noorah & The Elf on the Shelf, Gabby from 'Gabby's Dollhouse,' Goku from 'Dragon Ball,' Marshall from 'PAW Patrol,' and Spider-Man. The parade will also feature new floats such as Candy Cosmos by Haribo, Dora’s Fantastical Rainforest by Nickelodeon & Paramount, Magic Meets the Seas by Disney Cruise Line, and Pasta Knight by Rao’s Homemade. Performers include Bishop Briggs, Kylie Cantrall, Chlöe, Dan + Shay, Dasha, Jimmy Fallon and The Roots, Coco Jones, Walker Hayes, Ariana Madix, Joey McIntyre, Idina Menzel, Natti Natasha, T-Pain, Rachel Platten, Lea Salonga, The Temptations, The War and Treaty, Alex Warren, and Sebastián Yatra. The parade will be hosted by TODAY's Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, and Al Roker, and will be kicked off by actress Alison Brie. Broadway performances will include 'Death Becomes Her,' 'Hell’s Kitchen,' 'The Outsiders,' and the Radio City Rockettes. Members of the WNBA Champions New York Liberty will also participate along with their mascot Ellie the Elephant.
